Coaches Corner: Northeast Community College Hawks finding success on the diamond as head coach Marcus Clapp reaches 200 career wins [Video]

NORFOLK, NEB (KTIV) – Northeast Community College started their baseball program in the 2017-18 season. Since then, they have been led by head coach Marcus Clapp who recently hit his 200th career win when the Hawks defeated DMACC on April 4th, 2024.

Coach Clapp talked about his team and accomplishment on Coaches Corner.

“You know, I’ll be honest with you, I didn’t really have any idea where I was at, I guess I don’t pay any attention to that. So I was kind of surprised when they announced it, that was the case. But, you know, I think it’s just a testament to the athletes that have been here. My previous coaches, my current coaches, just all the people that have helped this program, get to where it is today. And so, it was a pretty special moment, for sure,” said coach Clapp.
