BANGOR — By day, Steve Silberberg is a mild-mannered fit packing guide traveling all over the world, helping people get in shape while exploring the great outdoors. On the side, he has a very interesting, steadily growing collection.

“I thought, ‘How can I ensure that women won’t go out on a date with me? ‘ And that’s what I came up with,” states Steve Silberberg, the site’s creator and curator of barfbags.com. It’s exactly what it sounds like, but I still won’t spare you any details. 

It’s an online museum showcasing thousands of motion sickness bags.

The site’s creator curator is Mainer Steve Silberberg, an emesis bag enthusiast who has been collecting sickness sacks for decades.

Steve says, “I probably have the 10th largest collection in the world.” 

His interest in puke parcels began when he flew from Chicago to Boston for college.

After that, he’d get the bags from buddies or on his occasional flight, but things took off …
