Developer of proposed south Kansas City landfill talks settlement, future options for site [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Jennifer Monheiser, the owner of KC Recycling and Waste Solutions and a developer behind a proposed landfill site in South Kansas City, says after several years and pushback from the community, she’s agreed to a settlement with the City of Raymore.

“I don’t think it’s the best-case scenario for us, but it’s something that we can live with and move forward and hopefully still continue to find something that will work for all of us,” said Monheiser. “I would just say that I’m happy we all came to an agreement that we can all live with. I look forward to working with them and the rest of the community to find a good solution for Kansas City.”
