Two men are dead and a man living with them is charged with their murders, Franklinton police said.
At 2 a.m. Friday, Franklinton police and Franklin County deputies responded to a double homicide at a home on Pine Street.
After an hours-long standoff, Christian Webster, 30, was taken into custody after he had barricaded himself inside the home. Webster is charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
“Around midnight, I heard a shot,” neighbor Stephanie Poole said. “It was like a pop noise.
“I got up, and I saw the flashing lights in my window. So, I jumped up, and I’m like, ‘What is going on?’ There [were] cops lined the whole street.”
