Dow High School to hold an Earth Day Action Expo on April 27 | Local [Video]

MIDLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) – Dow High School in Midland will be hosting an Earth Day Action Expo on April 27.

There will be more than 70 exhibitors at the free event, offering environmentally friendly, hands-on activities for students, parents and community members of all ages.

Organizers say participants will learn about renewable energy, local watersheds, recycling and composting.

“The students at Dow High and, I think, all across the district at Midland and other places are very interested in the health of the environment,” says event organizer Cynthia Roberts. “It’s their future, and it affects the health of people and animals as well.”

The event runs from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Dow High School.
