COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Over the last ten weeks crews have been hard at work on the new renovations to Skirted Heifer downtown repairing the damage a car left when it crashed in the building in February. Owner Kevin Megyri tells 11 News he is happy to see people enjoying his burgers once again.
“It’s like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. It feels so good to be open. We finally get to do what we do best cook some dang good food,” Megyri said.
The restaurant is famous for its burgers, served skirted style or regular. Customers have been flooding in all weekend.
“I’m never mad that I spend my money here I like it,” Skirted Heifer customer Alyssa Catafino said. “I like it it’s a nice vibe it’s welcoming it’s like come on in and let me give you a hug”
