DRUM the Program connecting kids with music and culture during spring break [Video]

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – DRUM the Program is hosting a week’s worth of free events for families and students looking for a culturally immersive activity during spring break.

The events take place from March 25 through 29 at 11 a.m.

The team of instructors will show students different drumming rhythms, techniques, and exercises. It’s open to beginners and experts.

Organizers say they’ll also provide lunch for students, especially since some might miss a meal with school out for spring break.

The program will take place at George Dailey Park in Montevallo. For more information visit drumtheprogram.org.
