REDDING, Calif. – The Earth Day Festival will return to Redding’s Caldwell Park on Saturday, April 20.

The Shasta Environmental Alliance will host an all-ages Earth Day festival in Caldwell Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A variety of organizations, including local environmental groups, will be there teaching children and adults about the importance of our environment.
This year’s Earth Day theme is Planet vs. Plastics to educate the public about the threats that plastics, especially microplastics, pose to our environment.
The Shasta Environmental Alliance said they will be asking exhibitors and food vendors not to bring single-use plastic items to this year’s event.
