Family of missing 19-year-old waits for Medical Examiner’s results after remains recovered in Kansas, Okla. | News [Video]

KANSAS, Okla. — The family of a 19-year-old who’s been missing for months said the FBI reached out to them after law enforcement found a body in a well on Friday.

Those remains have not been identified yet.

Some family members think the body is 19-year-old Trey Glass, who’s been missing since December. But Glass’ sister is still holding out hope he is alive.

Friday evening, Cherokee Nation Marshalls said they pulled a decomposed body from a 20-foot well in Kansas, Oklahoma, about an hour east of Tulsa.

“About 9 o’clock that night I was called and told there was cops all over Wilkerson’s Ranch. From where I live I could actually see them, and there was a helicopter that left out of there,” said Emma Sanders, Glass’ cousin.

Emma and the family know the area well. They themselves searched there for Glass at least eight times since he disappeared in December.
