Online systems utilized by the government and residents of Kansas City, Missouri, are largely back online after significant outages that began over the weekend.Officials still have yet to confirm what led to issues with the city’s website, employee emails and online court and billing systems.A spokesperson with the FBI’s Kansas City office confirmed that they had been in contact with ‘local partners’ regarding the incident but did not confirm whether or not some form of cyber attack may have caused the problems.The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department confirmed that contact was made with the FBI but that the police are ‘not investigating a crime’ in conjunction with the federal law enforcement agency.
