They say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and the Maine State Musical Theater takes advantage of that every year at their yard sale.The weekend-long sale had a special sneak peek event Thursday where people who made a $20 donation to the theater got to get early access to all the items. On Saturday admission was free, and then on Sunday all prices were cut in half for the final day.The items were all donated to the theater and volunteers took charge of different sections of the yard sale to clean objects and create displays with them in their categories.Dane Whitlock is the Director of Marketing and Communications at Maine State Music Theater.
