FIRST ALERT: Storms continue overnight [Video]

Thunderstorms continue overnight into Friday morning. A First Alert Weather Day continues through the early morning hours.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – Some stronger storms are expected to move in tonight. With these, winds will be the most likely threat, however, some small hail and a brief spin-up tornado cannot be ruled out.

The entire viewing area is at risk for some stronger storms Thursday night.(Davis Wells)

The first wave arrives between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m

Storms start to move in around 8pm(Davis Wells)

If the first wave doesn’t take up too much energy from the atmosphere, the second wave will arrive from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.

A second wave of storms is possible around 11pm. These storms also have a damaging wind threat.(Davis Wells)

Tonight: Thunderstorms are expected from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. A First Alert Weather Day is issued for this time frame. Once storms move out, temperatures stay in the middle 60s.
