BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Breezy, warm conditions going into the second half of the weekend as the warm southerly wind flow circulating around the high pressure ridge off the East Coast persists. The mild early morning conditions will be followed by another warm up with highs around 80°.
Another system will drop south for the beginning of the week returning rain chances from Monday afternoon through Monday night. There will be a chance for a few thunderstorms associated with the system, although it appears the greater instability will be over Southern Mississippi while the system will likely bring beneficial rain before moving east by Tuesday.
Lower rain chances return by mid-week as a ridge of high pressure builds back into the area bringing another period of dry days before rain chances return going into the weekend.
