BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – First Alert AccuTrack shows most of our morning rain along and south of the I-20/59 corridor.
Fortunately, the rain should be gone by early afternoon, so the outlook for the Geico 500 in Talladega continues to look dry! Make sure you have warm clothes on though; temps are only expected to warm into the 50s to low 60s across our area. Even though you can likely put away the rain gear for the race in the afternoon with some breaks of sunshine in the forecast, winds will be breezy out of the north at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph possible, and that will add an additional wind chill to the temps.
