First Alert Weather: Light rain through Sunday with a chilly start to the week [Video]

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Today’s forecast: As we begin our Saturday morning, April 20th, we are looking at overcast skies with temps ranging from the 50s in Hamilton, Haleyville and Cullman…and into the 60s almost everywhere else. The first half of the day will likely remain dry, which is good news for all of the festivals and events happening across Central Alabama today.  I think the best chance to see thundershowers today will likely occur in the late afternoon and evening hours along and south of I-20. Rain chances are expected to increase this evening as a mass of rain develops in Louisiana and Mississippi. I would plan for increasing rain chances tonight and going into Sunday morning.
