First Lady Jill Biden visiting Green Bays Rail Yard Innovation District [Video]

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – First Lady Jill Biden is making a stop in Green Bay Friday afternoon. She’ll visit the Rail Yard Innovation District on Broadway to promote education.

One of the owners of the Rail Yard Innovation District says he was shocked when one of his tenants told him they were contacted about hosting the first lady. They’ve been working with the Secret Service and making accommodations for her visit.

“I think it’s exciting anytime Green Bay is on the national stage. I grew up here and live here and work here and it’s a great place and we’re an important part of the country. It makes me feel like we mean something,” Brent Weycker, a partner in the Rail Yard Innovation District, said.

She’ll be coming to Live X, a business on the upper level of the building, after she arrives at Green Bay Austin Straubel International …
