FORSYTH, Ga. — Families had lots of fun in Forsyth today for their annual Forsythia Festival!
Over 100 vendors and around 20,000 people showed up in Forsyth to shop for arts and crafts and grab some tasty treats.
It was 37th year the festival has taken place, and a commissioner of Monroe county said they aren’t quite sure why the festival is so popular but the tradition is wonderful.
A school Agriculture team had two lambs and a cow up for raffle, and vendors lined the streets.
There was live music all day from different bands, along with bouncy houses and craft stations.
There were also interactive displays like the one the Police had, using a simulation tuck to show the importance of wearing a seatbelt.
