Fox Business anchor Ashley Webster spoke to two Fox pundits on Monday about South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) writing about shooting a puppy in her book, both of whom agreed the media fallout from sharing the story spells political doom for the Republican.
“This has been getting a lot of conversations and is defending itself against critics who are outraged about this story and an upcoming memoir where she talks about killing her dog on her family farm. She said, on X, quote, ‘All right. I can understand why some people are upset about a 20-year-old story of Cricket.’ That’s the name of the dog. ‘South Dakota law states that dogs who attack and kill livestock can be put down.
