Gilbert teen’s murder still unsolved 2 years later [Video]

GILBERT, Ariz. — There have been no answers for the family of a Gilbert 19-year-old who was shot and killed by someone who broke into her apartment almost two years ago.

Now, Rachel Hansen’s mom is asking the community for help.

Kim Hansen said she doesn’t know who or why someone killed her daughter in the middle of the night on June 4, 2022. 

It’s that lack of answers that pushed her to social media.

Hansen posted to the Facebook group “Go Gilbert” to tell the group who her daughter was and what happened to her. She asked anyone with information about the crime to go to the police with what they know.
