GOP state representative defeated Super Tuesday discusses primary [Video]

State Rep. Glenn Rogers also answers whether he’ll vote for Sen. Ted Cruz, who supported his opponent in the primary.

TEXAS, USA — Conservative state Rep. Glenn Rogers, R-Graford, doesn’t do a lot of TV interviews.

The Graford Republican lost to conservative challenger Mike Olcott in the Texas House District 60 primary, which includes Parker, Palo Pinto and Stephens counties.

Because Rep. Rogers opposes school vouchers and voted to impeach Attorney General Ken Paxton, his opponent received endorsements from Gov. Greg Abbott, Paxton and Sen. Ted Cruz.

Now that he lost, will Rogers vote for Cruz this November in his U.S. Senate race against Democratic Congressman Colin Allred?

“Will I support him against a Democrat? I’ll hold my nose and do it; yes, I will,” Rogers told us bluntly. “I’ll vote for a Republican over a Democrat any time.”
