CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns added depth to the defensive line in the form of Michael Hall Jr. out of Ohio State. The pick was the 54th overall selection Friday night in the second round of the NFL Draft.
The defensive tackle joins a Browns line that ranks among the league’s best, ranging from starters in Dalvin Tomlinson and Shelby Harris, to rotational backups in Maurice Hurst II.
Hall will look to become acclimated while learning from defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, who’s 4-3 base defense focuses on an aggressive four-man front.
The former Buckeye totaled 24 tackles, two tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks through 12 games last season.
How would you grade the Browns’ second-round selection?
