STONINGTON, Conn. — Interstate 95 north in Stonington is expected to be closed for several hours Saturday after an early morning tractor-trailer crash.
State police were called to the area of Exit 92 around 6:15 a.m., and responding troopers found the tandem unit partially off the overpass.
No injuries have been reported, state police said. The state Dept. of Transportation and the Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection were both notified of damages.
I-95 north near Exit 91 is closed and it is expected to “be a lengthy closure.” Taugwonk Road, which is underneath I-95, is closed as well.
