AN increasing number of people are opting for artificial grass because of a whole host of benefits over natural grass.
However, it’s important for homeowners to remember that artificial turf still requires maintenance too – especially because the unpredictable British weather helps to create the perfect environment for moss to grow thrive.
One woman who experienced this very problem was Jennifer Hulme, who took to gardening Facebook group ‘Hinch Army Cleaning Tips’, desperate for advice.
Sharing a snap showing her artificial grass covered in pesky moss, she asked: “Can anyone recommend something to clean artificial grass?
“We have moved into a house but looks like the grass has never been maintained so there’s moss etc grown on top of it…”
She added: “I’ve found scraping it with the hoover …
