IMPD investigating body found with trauma at northwest side gas station [Video]

The incident reportedly happened at the intersection of North High School Road and West 38th Street around 9 p.m. April 27.

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police are investigating after a body was found with trauma at a northwest side gas station.

According to IMPD, around 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, officers were called to the intersection of N. High School Road and W. 38th Street on a report of a person down. 

Officers arrived at a Marathon gas station near the scene and found a person that police believe to be male dead in the parking lot with “some sort of trauma.”

According to witnesses, someone was seen running from the parking lot, but police do not know whether or not that person was the suspect.
