The Jan. 6 rioters could know that Donald Trump made no move to summon “an armed U. S. National Guard” or “armed U. S. forces” because they could monitor Trump’s Twitter account. They therefore could also assume they might be successful in their attempted insurrection. These are facts, writes a retired attorney in Strongsville in a letter to the editor.
