KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Chiefs are reassessing their options, less than a month after Jackson County voters decided against a 3/8th cent sales tax. The money would have paid for $800 million in renovations and improvements at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt said the organization is now reassessing their options for the future.
That could include building a new home for the team.
For the first time since the failed stadium vote, Clark spoke publicly about what the future could hold for the Kansas City Chiefs. One thing fans haven’t heard before is the Chiefs are open to the idea of planning a future separately from the Royals.
