HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – In Holyoke, the New England Chapter of the Kosciuszko Foundation held their annual luncheon gala on Sunday.
That event started around 11:30 a.m.
Western Mass News spoke with a member of the board of directors from the Kosciuszko Foundation, Kathleen Wroblewski.
She told us another cause of celebration for today’s luncheon, saying, “Today we’re celebrating our 25th anniversary of our admittance to NATO. Poland was admitted to NATO on March 12th, 25 years ago. Around the country and in Poland, there have been events celebrating this occasion.”
Sunday’s event also celebrated two distinguished Polish Americans for 2024, as well as the students who were awarded scholarships and grants.
