KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – The Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority (KRT) is looking to make some changes to the public transportation system.

Sean Hill, KRT Director, said they have some proposals in mind and will be looking to the public for their input.

“In the past year we have been going through the process of completing what we call a ‘Comprehensive Operational Analysis’ which looks at our existing services. It looks at potential alternative services and also looks at our fair structure to make sure that we are making the most of all the new technologies that are out there that can hopefully make our dollar go further for our passengers to make sure to continue to make positive changes to our system,” Hill said.

A public hearing will be held at the end of the month where KRT expects to get feedback from the community about their needs …
