BETHLEHEM | The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection scheduled a public hearing for 6-9 p.m. Monday, April 29 at Nitschmann Middle School, 1002 W. Union Blvd. in Bethlehem, on the application for a National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination System (NPDES) permit for a warehouse project in Hanover Township, Northampton County. Arcadia Development of Bethlehem proposes to construct a 250-thousand square-foot warehouse along Gateway Drive. The NPDES permit will allow for the discharge of stormwater from construction activities to Monocacy Creek, which is designated as high-quality, coldwater fishery.
