During their time on the trip, the Veterans will visit the World War II Memorial in Bedford, Virginia, lay wreaths in Arlington, visit several other memorials and have lunch with cadets at the Virginia Military Institute.

“I’m looking forward to meeting all these other veterans and sharing stories,” U.S Air Force veteran Will Kruger said. “And I’ve been to Washington, D.C. one time, but I am looking forward to seeing the second time and seeing all the sights. So, yeah, it’s just, I’m going to savor every moment.”

Randall Emerson, a U.S. Army veteran, described the Honor Flight trip as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
