NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A group put its decor skills to good use Thursday, sprucing up two facilities for homeless veterans in New Orleans.
60 volunteers from the Accessories Resource Team came together at the facilities run by Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana to drill, decorate, and garden.
The group of home decor professionals chose Pitt Street and Napoleon Avenue facilities as part of their community service. It is here for a conference, and members tell us what better way to give back than by giving these veterans a sense of home.
