Lockheed Martin flies 4 LRASM missiles as a team for the first time [Video]

Lockheed Martin has announced that it has completed a flight test of four Long-Range Anti-Ship Missiles (LRASM) for the first time. Flown as a quartet, the test is a historic moment for the company and the United States Navy.

The test, which formed part of the 12th Integrated Test Event (ITE-12) earlier this month, demonstrated the weapon’s high-end lethality, from mission planning through kill chain integration and its effects on the target.

According to Lockheed Martin, all mission objectives were achieved, increasing confidence in the weapon’s capabilities and superior firepower.
