Maine Mycological Association hosts foraging lecture at Camden Public Library [Video]

CAMDEN, Maine (WABI) – Greg Marley of the Maine Mycological Association hosted an engaging presentation on foraging for edible mushrooms at the Camden Public Library.

Marley is a mushroom expert and award-winning author who has been collecting and studying mushrooms for over 50 years.

The presentation included high quality photos of mushrooms that can be found across New England, how to identify species, and which ones to look out for.

Marley highlighted species of mushrooms that can be toxic or deadly, as well as mushrooms that you can cook and eat after foraging.
