EMPLOYEES at a major restaurant chain were informed just hours before their shift that they were out of a job.
A Walk On’s Sports Bistreaux in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, abruptly closed on Wednesday with immediate effect.
The news was broken to customers with letters posted on the building saying it had “closed its doors for the last time.”
“We are writing to you with a heavy heart to announce that Walk-Ons Sports Bistreaux at 61 Rodeo Drive has closed its doors for the last time,” the letter said.
“This decision was not made lightly, and we want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support over the years.”
