Bernaud was messaging a 13-year-old boy on Instagram, according to the warrant for his arrest.

The victim told police he met Bernaud in April 2022 in Orange.

Bernaud and the victim were in an Instagram group together, police said.

The arrest warrant said Bernaud told the teen he would pay him for videos of himself shirtless.

The victim told investigators that: “on a few occasions between January and March of 2024, he had some weird, possibly ‘pedophile type’ conversations with Bernaud,” the warrant said.

Bernaud was released on a $50,000 bond and is due in court in May.
