ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A man is facing charges of assault with intent to commit a felony and interfering with flight crew members after he allegedly became aggressive with airline staff and groped a woman on a Delta Airlines flight Monday.

According to an affidavit from an FBI agent, David Bryan Frantz appeared intoxicated when he checked in at Anchorage Ted Stevens International Airport Monday. The agent said ticket agents saying he appeared intoxicated and slurred his words. They advised him to eat some food and refrain from drinking any alcohol and that he would not be able to travel if he did.

Flight attendants noticed Frantz during the boarding process and that he appeared “a little off” or intoxicated, according to the affidavit. After boarding Delta Airlines flight 474 he ordered an alcoholic drink from a flight attendant, who said she noticed he was already speaking loudly and behaving …
