Man shot multiple times in Dothan shooting, suspect at large [Video]

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – A Friday afternoon shooting in Dothan resulted in one person suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, with police having identified a person of interest in the incident.

According to Dothan Police PIO Lieutenant Scott Owens, the unidentified suspect is not in custody at this time, but DPD do not believe that this person is a threat to others in the area at this time and that officers are actively searching for him.

Lt. Owens also said that multiple people, including the victim, were inside a Pinecrest Drive home when the suspect shot dozens of rounds at the victim and the residence. The others inside of the home were not injured.

The victim in the shooting, an 18-year-old male, is receiving medical attention at this time. His injuries are believed to be serious, but not life-threatening according …
