Police say a man was struck by a vehicle in the area of Saw Mill Road and Allings Crossings, People are asked to avoid the area.
WEST HAVEN, Conn. — A man has been hospitalized in critical condition after a vehicle struck him in West Haven on Saturday.
West Haven police said that law enforcement is on the scene in the area of Saw Mill Road and Allings Crossings investigating the major accident between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian.
The man struck was taken to an area hospital and is in critical condition.
Police ask the public to avoid the area as a portion of Saw Mill Road is closed to assist investigators. Use an alternate route.
