Metal debris hits windshield of vehicle, killing Alabama driver [Video]

POLICE STATION. A FLYING PIECE OF ROAD DEBRIS BEING BLAMED FOR A DEADLY WRECK THIS MORNING ON I-65. JASON FIELDS WAS KILLED WHEN THE DEBRIS HIT HIS CAR JUST BEFORE 11:00 THIS THIS MORNING. THE CRASH HAPPENED ABOUT A MILE SOUTH OF WARRIOR.

A 51-year-old man was killed Monday when a metal beam struck the windshield of his vehicle while he was driving on I-65 South in Warrior.Jason Fields, 51, of Gardendale, was driving a 2021 Ford Bronco at about 10:59 a.m. when the beam fell off an unknown vehicle, according to ALEA.
