Mother of murdered Tuscaloosa teen speaks about his death [Video]

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) – A grieving Tuscaloosa mother who lost her son, a young father who was shot dead during a robbery attempt a week ago, recently spoke about his death.

Officers say two teenagers were killed, including Jacob Crumpton. A juvenile has been arrested in connection to the case.

Jalena Chamblis says she is heartbroken and this is something she will never get over. Her primary focus right now is raising money to bury her middle child.

Crumpton was the driver of the car that crashed into a home on Reece Boulevard. Crumpton was 18 years old.

“I’m trying to be strong, nervous and sick to my stomach. Had to get my doctor to prescribe me something,” said Chambliss.

First, the murder of her own son. Now, the burial. A double dose of heartache.
