NCIS: Hawai’i has been canceled by CBS after fans fell in love with the characters over the series.
NCIS: Hawai’i premiered in 2021 and is in the middle of its third season.
On Friday, CBS revealed that it would not be coming back for a fourth season, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The news comes right before the season and series finale on May 6.
The series stars Vanessa Lachey and LL Cool J, who also appeared in NCIS: Los Angeles.
In the three seasons, the show aired only 54 episodes which made it the shortest NCIS series.
The crime show had 10 million viewers across all platforms in only 35 days.
While that is an impressive number on most networks, it’s mediocre at best on CBS.
