ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Former President Donald Trump – held in contempt of court Tuesday in his historic New York criminal trial – is leading President Joe Biden in Georgia and six other battleground states, according to a new poll from Emerson College Polling/The Hill.
Trump is ahead by three points in Georgia, with 47 percent to Biden’s 44 percent, with 8 percent undecided. But Trump’s lead in Georgia – along with those in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin – are all within each survey’s margin of error.
Emerson College Polling/The Hill surveyed 1,000 registered voters in each state with a margin of error of plus/minus 3 percent. The polls were conducted April 25-29, 2024.
