PECOS, Texas — In Pecos, the city was facing potential staff shortages delays in their financial processing.
Then, city manager, Charles Lino was approached with a potential solution: a new technology that could provide them solutions without costing anybody a job.
Fast forward to today, and how it couldn’t have worked any better.
“It allows us to do more with the current staff that we have, we have the same number of staff now, doing more work and being much more timely on everything that we’re doing from a financial reporting standpoint,” said Lino. “It also makes sure that we’re being better stewards of the taxpayer dollar by not incurring any penalties due to unforeseen errors or unforeseen circumstances.”
