NFL Draft 2024 Round 1 recap: Relive the top storylines, picks and trades from Day 1 [Video]

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The 2024 NFL Draft has at long last arrived. Thursday night from Detroit was the start of three days, seven rounds and 257 picks as hundreds of players will hear their names called.

32 players were selected in the first round on Thursday night. Among the names we heard early are USC quarterback Caleb Williams, LSU QB Jayden Daniels and Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

We also had plenty of stunners, including Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. going eighth overall to the Falcons and Bo Nix going 12th to the Broncos.
