CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns made their first pick Friday night in the second round on a defensive player and one who grew up close to Cleveland with defensive lineman Michael Hall Jr. from Ohio State.
The Streetsboro graduate became the Browns’ selection at pick No. 54 overall. General manager Andrew Berry followed in the third round with Michigan guard Zak Zinter.
Should Berry’s attention return to the defense on Saturday for the fourth through seventh rounds, here are some of their options. The Browns aren’t slated to pick until the fifth round, though, starting with No. 156 overall.
Austin Booker, Kansas, edge rusher
