Offensive lineman Matthew Bedford came to Oregon for final season for development: Im good right now; I want to be great [Video]

He’s started at each position on the offensive line other than center, though right guard is Beford’s preferred spot and where Oregon had an opening. Bedford met with Terry and identified deficiencies to fix in his game in his final season and has been attacking them this spring.

He said the difference in Oregon’s offensive line is the process-oriented approach

“I’m learning myself that I need to focus on that, the process of things,” Bedford said. “Being able to get the process all the way done so that the situation is solved. The details of the hands, being able to have a really great stance so that when you get out of your stance you’re in a very powerful position to be able to take on defenders. It’s intent behind your set and the hands, all the details of being a great offensive lineman.

“I’m good right now; I want to be great.”
