LINCOLNTON, N.C. (WBTV) – Two adults and a child were killed in an early morning Lincolnton house fire on Wednesday, according to government officials.

The fire happened around 2:45 a.m. along Cloudburst Circle near Car Farm Road.

Officials say firefighters controlled the blaze in about 20 minutes and found three victims in the home: two adults and one child. None survived, reports said.

One firefighter was hurt while battling the blaze as he was trying to rescue a victim, and the structure collapsed in the process, officials said. He was treated and has been released from the hospital.
