The restaurant is expected to reopen in mid to late April with full service for lunch and dinner.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The former Costa Verde will transition to 57 Ninety Restaurant in April under former manager Kim Lewis.

Lewis bought the business at 5790 Transit Road in Depew and is leasing the 3,900-square-foot building with her son and business partner Joseph Sclafani. Plans call for keeping popular menu items with a focus on both Italian and American fare.

They’re also looking at ways to introduce patrons to flavors they may not have chosen initially with specials, as well as soup flights and burger flights.

“If you put it in a flight, it might spark someone’s interest,” said Lewis, who brings nearly 30 years’ experience in the industry.
