Openings on City of Columbia boards and commissions [Video]

COLUMBIA, S.C. — If you have ever had an interest in city government and have skills that might be useful in an advisory position, you may want to apply for a vacancy on one of the City of Columbia’s boards and commissions.

The various boards and commissions have terms of service commitments ranging from one to six years, depending on the position. Applications can be made online through the MatchBoard interface and must be completed by May 3, 2024.

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS (BOZA) Seeking to fill two (2) vacancies. The Board of Zoning Appeals is a quasi-judicial board that makes decisions regarding zoning issues.
