GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAW) – After addressing the offensive line with Jordan Morgan in round one of the 2024 NFL Draft, Brian Gutekunst and the Packers switch gears and pick a pair of defensive players in round two. At 45th overall, Green Bay selected Texas A&M Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper, while selecting Georgia Safety Javon Bullard 58th overall.

Cooper, a 2023 AP First-Team All-American, and All-SEC First-team player, led his entire conference with 17 tackles for loss. He also padded eight sacks and a team-best 84 tackles on the year. The junior product is expected to fit right into the Packers’ front seven next to linebacker Quay Walker.
